Veterinary Ultrasonography & Cardiology

We have designed and built a modern, state of the art imaging suite designated for ultrasound and cardiac scans. With your patients in mind, our team of vets alongside practice manager James Weston designed a custom-built ultrasound table for ease of access with maximum patient comfort.

Ultrasonography is gold standard and if case appropriate is one of the preferred imaging modalities. This is because, unlike other imaging modalities, ultrasonography does not expose the patient to any harmful radiations. The scan can also be performed on conscious animals meaning your pet, in most cases, will not require an anaesthetic.

We have recently upgraded our scanner to the Siemens Ultrasound NX3 machine. This allows us to showcase high quality images on the same day as examination.

Imaging Vet Dr Paula Fazenda Cert AVP MRCVS is our designated, imaging veterinary surgeon who can perform ultrasound and cardiac scans on site.
